May the FEAR BEGIN! HAHAHAHA!
In the spring floods of 2015 something else floated down stream and it was not a body. It was the “Necronomicon” the book of dark spells. The unsuspecting children of Christy Farms found it among the carnage that was caused by the receding flood waters. Unaware, they started reading from its pages. The words, unfamiliar to the children took possession of the oldest girl. The words flowed like water from her lips. Suddenly, a strange red light appeared in the next room. Something terrible had been summoned, Marie Laveau and the evil Baron Samedi. The face of the farm, as they knew it, had changed to something that could not be described. What was, was no longer, the world was out of kilter. They do not know if they will survive it, nor if YOU will survive it! If you dare and are not faint of heart, come to Haunted Hollow Texas in Riesel any Friday or Saturday night in October beginning October 9th through Halloween. Monster Blasters may be purchased to arm yourself against the evils that have risen… (see rules of conduct)
About 100 years ago, the local folks buried their loved ones next to the banks of the big Sandy Creek, outside Riesel. To their dismay, when the heavy rains came, their loved ones rose to the surface and floated away, never to be seen again. This left their spirits continually in search of their lost bodies, or new ones to inhabit.
Never resting, they continue till they find a final place where they may be at peace. Always disturbed, they go from vessel to vessel searching for the right host to inhabit for all time. Each new arrival to the Hollow offers a new possible host, which brings new hope for an ever lasting peace for the weary spirits. Where will they rest?
2 miles south of Riesel on Highway 6 turn right on County Road 109. Go 1 mile to an old wooden bridge. There lies an old cemetery, where no bodies remain. Come enter the Haunted Hollow, if you dare. There you will be afraid, not only of the dark, but of the unknown. This is not for the weak of heart, nor the curious. It is a place of eternal unrest, of restless souls roaming in torment. This is a place for no one; no one save those brave enough to tempt fate...
